Penstemon tubaeflorus (Prairie Beard Tongue)

Blooms from mid-spring to mid-summer with spires of tubular white flowers arranged in 'ring' or tight clusters around strong, slender stems with the main leaves appearing well below the flowers. Flower clusters, similar to Foxglove Beard Tongue, are narrower.
