Clematis virginiana (Virgin's Bower)

Abundant clusters of fragrant creamy white flowers bloom in August and September attracting butterflies and other pollinators. Female plants produce lots of silky seed heads. The foliage is bright green. Plants climb by twisting tendrils around objects.
