Penstemon digitalis (Foxglove Beard Tongue)

In May and June, tubular white flowers carried on strong stems provide nectar for hummingbirds. In the fall, the foliage turns reddish. Attractive seed heads are also produced on this handsome addition to the garden. This white flowering native is beautiful in the moonlit garden.
