Plants grow up to five feet in height and offer sweetly scented clusters of rose-pink flowers in summer. All kinds of pollinators find the nectar irresistable and monarch larvae feed on the foliage. Grows naturally in swamps, along streams and ponds and in wet meadows but also grows well in gardens.
