Common Name: Pawpaw
This multistemmed shrub or small tree is a great plant for attracting all kinds of wildlife. Tropical-looking, 6-12" long leaves are quite unusual. Edible, 2-5" yellowish fruit is relished by many birds and small mammals. Plant is larval food of Zebra Swallowtail butterfly. Spreads slowly to form small colonies or thickets, providing good cover a variety of wildlife.
